How to Change your Firefox Browser's Default Search Engine into Google

Want to change your default search engine in your Firefox browser? You can change it by doing this:

Type in your address bar: "about:config" and press enter.

On the filter search box, type in: "browser.search.defaultenginename"

Then right-click and choose Modify, then type in the name of search Engine you want to be your default Search Engine. In this case you want Google so type in "Google" make sure you type in the name correctly.

Other search engine names are:
  • Ask.com
  • Yahoo
  • Bing
